Tossed up in my mind the idea of going home after the pool to shower and change. Nomally a bit vain, I went against my better judgement and decided to head to the local shops for milk Was it just me, or were people really staring at me with disdain? I was lucky enough to be wearing a full length sundress saturated in all the wrong places and accessorised with my beautiful 6 month old baby. Despite the high end fashion accessory of bub, I could not believe that the usual courtesies shown to me were very, absent. With a few essentials in hand, it appeared that a checkout had been opened for me. Before i could blink a 60 something scurried into the open checkout. I was loaded up with a good 20kg and had to ask the lady to remove her empty basket from the conveyor to avoid a near fatal meltdown... Fortunately my polite approach and the beautiful smiles of Taj rendered all other onlookers as harmless. When i dropped my small change, everyone rushed to the rescue. The moral of the blog ...always look your best even when popping to the shops.
